Thisum’s impressive Airline experience dates back to 1999 when he joined Emirates Airlines in Sri Lanka. He has over 16 years of Cargo and Passenger experience in the Airline industry, which includes stints with Emirates and Qatar Airways. He headed the offline and online operations of United Airlines, Air Canada, Thai Airways Cargo, Delta Airlines Cargo for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Hong Kong Airlines, Tiger Airways and Fly Dubai in the Maldives. He has received extensive training in Dubai, UK, Hong Kong and the United States in Airline operations, Sales, and Marketing.
His innovative approach towards handling and promoting the products and services of the respective Airlines he served, has earned him a good reputation in the Sri Lankan Airline industry. Thisum also served as the PR and Marketing Consultant (2013-2016) for the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Sri Lanka. His wide experience will help spearhead the company’s expansion plans.
